A New Resource Center for Cobles Landing

For five years families have arrived at a gate and a gravel drive. The planned Resource Center gives them a front door — a place to check in, wash up after a day on the trails, gather for a meeting or a reunion, and stay the night under a real roof. Every image on this page is an artist’s concept of a building that has not been constructed yet.

The Building

What It Will Include

Seven things this building gives the campground on day one. Hover or tap any card to read the detail.

  • Resource Center

The heart of the property — a true front door where guests arrive, get oriented, and gather under one roof year-round.

  • Check-in & information desk

A real front door for the property: keys, maps, trail conditions, and a Coble to greet you when you pull in.

  • Public restrooms

Open to campers, day guests, and event visitors so nobody is hunting for a facility after dark.

  • Hot showers

Private stalls with endless hot water — the single thing guests ask us for most after a day outdoors.

  • Guest laundry

Washers and dryers on site so week-long stays and family reunions stay comfortable start to finish.

  • Meeting room

An indoor gathering space for reunions, church groups, workshops, and small events — rain or shine.

  • Four guest bedrooms

Overnight rooms upstairs for grandparents, wedding guests, and anyone who would rather not tent.

Support This Project

The Resource Center is a capital project for our family-owned campground. We are seeking donors and investment partners to help bring it out of the drawings and onto the land. Contributions go toward site work, the bath house, and the guest rooms that will let more families stay overnight at Cobles Landing.

Online giving isn’t connected yet. Share your interest below and a member of the Coble family will follow up personally with project details, budget, and ways to participate.
